Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and sub-assemblies using advanced CAD tools .
- Perform detailed engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, using FEA software.
- Oversee the creation of detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate with R&D scientists, project managers, and external suppliers to ensure design feasibility and integration.
- Mentor and guide junior design engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Manage design verification and validation processes, including prototype testing and performance evaluation.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering.
- Expertise in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, NX) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of precision engineering, materials science, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage complex design projects and deliver innovative solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
