Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, utilising CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar.
• Conduct thorough FEA analysis and simulations to validate designs and optimize performance for durability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, manufacturing specialists, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Generate detailed technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions for manufacturing and supply chain partners.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation phases, troubleshooting any design issues that arise.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation in mechanical design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
• Proven experience in leading design projects and mentoring engineering staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
