About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their established engineering department in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX) and engineering simulation tools.
• Extensive knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage complex design projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills required for effective collaboration in Sunderland .
