Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and validation of complex mechanical systems and components using advanced CAD software.
• Conduct detailed stress analysis , thermal calculations, and performance simulations to ensure design robustness.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Manage design documentation, including technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and design reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and refinement phases, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
