About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and detailed engineering of novel mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Perform thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations to validate designs and optimize performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation , including drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and design specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with remote colleagues across various disciplines to integrate mechanical designs with other system components.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of engineering excellence within the virtual team.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation processes, analyzing results and implementing necessary design refinements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) and FEA tools.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and GD&T principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote working environment.
