Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of new mechanical systems and products.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using advanced CAD software .
• Perform rigorous engineering analysis , including stress, thermal, and vibration simulations, to ensure design integrity.
• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to oversee the transition from design to production.
• Identify and implement design improvements to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and improve manufacturability.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in advanced CAD tools (e.g., Creo, CATIA) and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Strong understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes (machining, casting, injection molding), and DFM principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
