Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Conduct thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and vibration testing to validate designs.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings , specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the engineering department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and development .
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and thermodynamics .
- Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
