Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components, ensuring adherence to project requirements and quality standards.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) using CAD software.
• Conduct thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and other simulations to validate designs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, in a remote setting.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to design reviews.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise during development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of material science, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects remotely and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.
