Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of complex mechanical systems and products using advanced CAD software .
• Perform detailed analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to optimize designs for strength, durability, and performance.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) .
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective production.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the engineering team.
• Manage design project timelines and resources effectively to meet company objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and analysis tools (FEA).
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
