Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role is critical for driving the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems across a variety of projects. You will leverage your extensive expertise to solve challenging engineering problems, mentor remote colleagues, and contribute to the strategic direction of mechanical design within the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and products remotely.
• Conduct comprehensive engineering analysis , including FEA, thermal, and dynamic simulations, to ensure robust designs.
• Develop detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and product management, via virtual channels.
• Oversee the prototyping, testing, and validation phases, providing remote guidance and support.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers within the distributed team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Expertise in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA ) and simulation tools.
• Proven track record of leading complex mechanical projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills suitable for a remote environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively while based anywhere.
