Senior Mechanical Design Engineer | Innovative Hardware | Product Development

I'm partnering with an innovative technology company developing next-generation hardware that combines precision mechanical engineering with advanced electronics.

They're looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to play a key role in bringing cutting-edge products to life. You'll have genuine ownership across the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through to testing, validation and production.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading the mechanical design and development of innovative hardware products using SolidWorks
• Creating high-quality 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings
• Collaborating with electronics, firmware and software engineers to deliver fully integrated products
• Designing for manufacturability, reliability, performance and cost
• Leading prototype builds, testing and mechanical validation
• Working with suppliers and manufacturing partners to transition products into production
• Supporting manufacturing readiness, procurement and production scale-up

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in mechanical product design and development
• Advanced SolidWorks skills with experience producing manufacturing documentationli>
• A proven track record of taking products from concept through to manufacture
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and experience integrating electronics into mechanical assemblies
• Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing partners and production environments
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Mechatronics or a related discipline
