About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their dedicated team based in Wolverhampton . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems and products from concept through to implementation.
• Conduct in-depth engineering analysis, including stress testing , thermal management, and vibration analysis, using specialized software.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and meet all specifications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM) , and test reports.
• Troubleshoot complex engineering problems and develop innovative solutions to overcome design challenges.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design and development.
• Proven experience leading engineering projects and mentoring technical staff.
• Expertise in CAD/CAE software and a strong understanding of engineering principles.
• In-depth knowledge of material science, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
