Senior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Salary: £55,000–£70,000 DOE + Bonus Location: Flexible / Hybrid Type: Permanent We are recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Building Services consultancy delivering a varied portfolio of projects across commercial, residential, care, refurbishment and Building Safety Act-related schemes. This is a key appointment within a small, flexible consultancy where you'll have genuine autonomy, direct access to senior decision-makers and the opportunity to take technical ownership of projects.
The Role
- Mechanical Building Services design from concept through detailed stages
- Detailed calculations and system design
- Heating, ventilation, cooling and domestic water services
- Specifications and technical documentation
- Review and coordination of CAD drawings
- Client and project meetings
- Multidisciplinary design coordination
- Managing your own projects and workload
About You
- We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer, ideally with 5+ years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy environment.
- You'll need strong technical design and calculation capability and the confidence to independently take ownership of projects.
- Dedicated CAD support is already available, so the focus is firmly on engineering and technical design rather than drawing production. Package
