This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team, where you'll play a key role in taking innovative concepts through design, development and manufacture while working on technically challenging projects using the latest engineering technologies.
The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design and development of sophisticated electro-mechanical systems, working closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams throughout the complete product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing innovative electro-mechanical products and assemblies.
- Creating creative engineering solutions to challenging technical problems.
- Supporting product development from concept through to manufacture.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust design solutions.
- Producing and reviewing technical documentation, design reports and verification plans.
- Supporting design verification, validation and manufacturing activities.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant quality and regulatory standards.
- Driving continuous improvement throughout the product development process.
About You
We're looking for engineers who can demonstrate:
- HND, Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong mechanical design experience within a complex engineering environment.
- Excellent SolidWorks CAD skills.
- Experience developing complex electro-mechanical systems.
- A good understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Experience supporting products through transfer to manufacture.
