About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team, with a focus on supporting projects originating from Sheffield . This role demands strong project management capabilities coupled with deep mechanical engineering expertise to oversee the successful execution of complex projects from inception through completion. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving projects forward, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget constraints, all within a flexible, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and budget control.
- Coordinate activities across various engineering disciplines and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and collaboration in a remote setting.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure designs meet all relevant engineering standards and performance criteria.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
