About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their innovative team in Derby . You will be responsible for managing key mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of mechanical engineering projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation phases of projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project engineering or project management, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex engineering projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry standards.
