About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Medical Writer to join their growing communications team, working remotely from anywhere in the UK. This role is essential for creating clear, accurate, and compliant scientific and regulatory documentation for a range of pharmaceutical products. You will collaborate with internal experts and external stakeholders to translate complex scientific information into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including regulatory authorities, healthcare professionals, and patients. This is a key remote-first position within a globally recognized pharmaceutical organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Author, edit, and review a variety of medical documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and publications.
- Ensure all written materials are scientifically accurate, clear, concise, and compliant with relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information and ensure technical accuracy.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of style guides and SOPs for medical writing.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, PharmD) in a life science, medical, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven expertise in writing clinical trial documentation, regulatory submissions, and scientific publications.
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical development, clinical research, and regulatory processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
