Senior Medical Writer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join their dynamic regulatory affairs and communications team in Brighton . This role is essential for producing high-quality, accurate, and compliant regulatory and scientific documents that support drug development and submission processes. You will play a key role in translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and review a wide range of regulatory documents, including Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), protocols, Investigator's Brochures, and submission dossiers.
• Ensure all documents meet regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and statistics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical writers.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory guidelines and changes impacting medical writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, medical, or scientific communication field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in writing various types of regulatory and scientific documents.
• In-depth understanding of drug development processes and regulatory submission requirements (e.g., EMA, FDA).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
