Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor Residential & Healthcare Development Tier 1 MEP Contractor East Sussex £500–£550 Per Day – Outside IR35 2+ Year Contract

A privately owned Tier 1 MEP contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor for a major residential and healthcare development in East Sussex.

The £16.5m MEP package covers 212 residential units alongside an integrated healthcare facility. The role offers long-term responsibility for the commercial management of a technically varied building-services package.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director and project team while operating with a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial delivery of the MEP package.

Procure and commercially manage specialist subcontractors.

*

Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow reports and monthly CVRs.

*

Assess subcontractor applications and issue payment recommendations.

*

Identify, value and negotiate variations.

*

Manage contractual notices, records and project correspondence.

*

Monitor costs, commitments, risk and commercial performance.

*

Support programme reviews and evaluate commercial impacts.

*

Drive subcontractor final accounts and overall project close-out.

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor experience.

*

Strong mechanical and electrical commercial knowledge.

*

Experience delivering residential, healthcare or mixed-use developments.

*

Ability to manage a sizeable MEP package with limited supervision.

*

Strong contractual, reporting and negotiation skills.

*

Based in East Sussex or South London with practical access to the project.
