Senior ML Ops Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior ML Ops Engineer to join their rapidly growing AI team in Reading . This role is critical for building, automating, and scaling the infrastructure required to support our machine learning lifecycle, from development to production deployment and monitoring. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our ML systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
• Automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of ML models in production environments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure for data processing, model training, and inference.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to optimize ML workflows and tools.
• Implement best practices for model versioning, testing, and governance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ML systems performance and reliability.
• Ensure security and compliance requirements are met for ML infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or MLOps.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Deep understanding of machine learning workflows and challenges.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for effective collaboration.
