Senior Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and technically proficient Senior Motion Graphics Designer to elevate their visual storytelling in Plymouth . You will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating compelling animated graphics, explainer videos, and dynamic visual content for various platforms, including marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications. This role requires a strong artistic sensibility, a deep understanding of animation principles, and mastery of industry-standard software. You will collaborate with creative directors, designers, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life visually, ensuring that all motion graphics align with brand aesthetics and project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for a variety of media, including video, web, and social platforms.
• Develop storyboards, concepts, and style frames to visualize animated sequences and guide production.
• Create engaging explainer videos, title sequences, character animations, and visual effects.
• Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
• Ensure all motion graphics adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in motion graphics and animation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse animation projects.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D (or similar 3D software), and other relevant design and animation tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in creating polished animations.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related creative field, or equivalent professional experience.
