Senior Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly creative and skilled Senior Motion Graphics Designer to join their innovative team, working entirely remotely. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for a wide range of digital content, including marketing videos, explainer animations, social media content, and internal communications. This is a pivotal role where you'll have the opportunity to push creative boundaries and elevate our client's visual storytelling. You will collaborate closely with a distributed team of creatives and project managers, contributing to a vibrant, remote-first culture that values artistic expression, technical proficiency, and impactful visual communication on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics, titles, characters, and visual effects for video projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
• Develop storyboards, animatics, and style frames to present creative concepts and gain approvals.
• Operate and maintain professional animation and editing software, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality output.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in motion graphics and animation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining creative integrity and quality standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or Animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D (or similar 3D software), and other relevant animation and design tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, storytelling, and visual design.
• Experience with 2D and 3D animation techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
