About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Nail Technician & Technician Lead to manage and excel within their busy nail salon in Cardiff . This role combines hands-on nail artistry with leadership responsibilities, including overseeing a team of nail technicians, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and driving service excellence. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional nail services, from basic manicures to intricate nail art, using a variety of techniques and products. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a passion for nail trends, and the ability to inspire and guide a talented team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylics, and advanced nail art.
• Consult with clients to determine their desired nail style, colour, and any specific requirements.
• Lead and train a team of nail technicians, providing guidance on techniques, customer service, and salon protocols.
• Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly maintained within the nail station and salon.
• Manage appointment scheduling and client records, ensuring smooth operations.
• Contribute to the salon's aesthetic by maintaining a clean, organised, and inviting workspace.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Nail Technology or extensive demonstrable experience.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Nail Technician, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in a wide range of nail enhancement techniques and artistic designs.
• Experience in leading or supervising a small team is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
• Up-to-date knowledge of nail industry trends, products, and safety regulations.
