Senior National Account Manager
- reading, england, United Kingdom
- £70 - £95 Per Hour
Job Description
Marvel FMCG is once again partnered with HiPP Organic who has been trusted by parents to make high-quality, organic baby nutrition for over a century. Family-owned. Values-driven. German HQ, big UK ambitions.
Now they want a Senior National Account Manager to own their biggest grocery and online accounts.
A bit about HiPP...
A family-owned business, now in fourth generation. They were organic long before organic was a thing, and after more than 60 years they still refuse to settle for ordinary. Everything they grow and everything they make comes back to one simple belief: the best from nature, and the best for nature.
The result? Happy, healthy, HiPP babies and parents who feel good about what they're feeding them. In fact, 97% of mums agree their babies are happier with HiPP.
They love what they do. And they do it because they care.
Why should you care?
Because this isn't a "keep the seat warm" job.
- HiPP relaunched in 2025 and the momentum is real. You get to ride it and grow it.
- A proper seat at the table with some key retailers.
- You'll line manage a National Account Manager leading eCom — so if you're ready to lead as well as sell, this is your step up.
- You get to build something for a business people genuinely respect. Parents trust HiPP.
The role...
- Own Tesco, Morrisons and Grocery.com. Full P&L, full strategy, full growth.
- Build proper relationships across the lot — buyers, category, online and rapid delivery teams, merchandising, supply chain.
- Run the numbers like you mean it — P&L, forecasting, the volume planning that keeps babies fed and shelves full.
- Coach and grow the NAM leading eCom. Give them direction, back them, unlock growth online.
- Spot the opportunities others walk past. Then actually go and win them.
2 days a week in Reading office.
Who you are
This one's specific — you've done both sides:
- You've owned a grocery retailer in FMCG Managed the account, run the P&L, sat across the table for JBP negotiations. Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Asda — that world.
- You've got real, hands-on eCommerce experience — and Amazon is essential.
- You're good with people. Internally, externally, up, down and sideways.
- You lead without needing to shout about it.
The two things we can't flex on: you've managed a grocery, convenience or high street retailer and you've done Amazon. Nail those and you're in the conversation — even if the rest of your CV doesn't tick every box. If you're the right human that genuinely cares, we want to hear from you.
