Senior .NET Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their established technology team in Plymouth . This role is central to the development and enhancement of their core business applications, leveraging the .NET framework and related Microsoft technologies. You will contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept and design through to implementation and support, working in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using .NET Core , C#, and ASP.NET.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with the .NET framework (C# , ASP.NET).
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
