Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecoms network solutions, including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
• Conduct in-depth network performance analysis, troubleshooting, and capacity planning to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Develop and implement network security protocols and best practices to protect against cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and development, to integrate new services and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the remote team.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in network engineering , with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry.
• In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other core routing and switching protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network security technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot complex network environments in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP) are highly desirable.
