Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecom network infrastructure , including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and implement new network solutions.
- Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and trends, evaluating their potential application within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on telecom networks .
- Proficiency in network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and security appliances.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
