Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex telecommunication networks , including routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed, reliability, and capacity.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on new technology evaluations and network upgrades.
- Lead and mentor junior network engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer , with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
- Strong expertise in TCP/IP , BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network security principles, including firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and VPNs.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and packet analysis.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
