About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Senior Network Security Engineer to join their dedicated security team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls.

• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar security-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security appliances and software from leading vendors.
• Proficiency in security incident response, forensic analysis, and threat mitigation.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or similar are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
