Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices across the telecommunications network.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate threats and minimize impact.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, recommending proactive security enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of network design and operations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in network security, preferably within the telecoms or critical infrastructure sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
• Proven expertise with security technologies such as firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), SIEM platforms, and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience in performing risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage security operations remotely.
