About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Senior Operations Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations based in Bristol . This role is crucial for driving data-informed decision-making by analysing complex operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will work closely with operational teams to understand their challenges and develop data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of operational processes, and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets related to operational performance, efficiency, and costs.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions for improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and new analytical tools to enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is essential.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
