About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Senior Operations Consultant to join their esteemed practice, supporting clients across the North East from their Sunderland hub, with significant remote work flexibility. You will focus on optimizing business processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving performance improvements for a diverse client base. This role demands a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of operational frameworks, and the ability to implement practical, impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing operational workflows and identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Design and implement optimized business processes using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing operational transformation projects.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance management frameworks.
• Advise clients on supply chain management, logistics, and inventory optimization strategies.
• Facilitate training sessions for client staff on new processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or management consulting with an operational focus.
• Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working in client-facing roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver tangible results.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
