Senior Operations Consultant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Operations Consultant to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is focused on optimizing business processes, improving operational efficiency, and driving performance improvements for a wide range of clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational challenges, design practical solutions, and lead the implementation of change. This is a client-facing role requiring significant travel and a hands-on approach to problem-solving within diverse operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze client operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
• Design and implement optimized operational workflows, supply chain improvements, and lean methodologies.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure the successful adoption of new processes.
• Lead project teams in delivering operational excellence initiatives, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Provide expert advice to clients on best practices in operations management and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or operational consulting.
• Proven track record of delivering significant operational improvements and cost savings for clients.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical, implementable solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
