Senior Operations Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Engineer to lead key initiatives within their manufacturing operations based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK . You will be responsible for analyzing complex operational challenges, developing strategic solutions, and overseeing their implementation across the plant floor. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and redesign of operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for capacity expansion and operational improvements.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies and methodologies within the manufacturing environment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to meet or exceed operational targets.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in operations engineering or manufacturing management.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale operational improvement projects.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
