Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Operations Manager to oversee operations for their facilities in Norwich , specifically supporting their ventures within the renewable energy sector . This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of operational efficiency and safety protocols. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, driving performance improvements, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services. Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize the day-to-day operations of assigned facilities and teams.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Manage budgets, resources, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational areas.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and service delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the energy or industrial sector .
Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with operational planning and performance management systems.
