Senior Penetration Tester

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Penetration Tester to join their expanding cybersecurity team. In this challenging role, you will conduct comprehensive security assessments, simulating real-world cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities in our client's systems and applications. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on penetration tests, providing actionable insights to strengthen the overall security posture. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute network, application, and system penetration tests.
• Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities with detailed technical explanations.
• Develop detailed and actionable reports for both technical and executive audiences.
• Conduct post-test remediation validation to confirm the effectiveness of security improvements.
• Research and stay current with emerging threats, attack vectors, and penetration testing techniques.
• Mentor junior penetration testers and contribute to the development of testing methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in professional penetration testing.
• Proficiency with a wide range of security tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark).
• Demonstrated understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
