About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Analyst to join their quality control laboratory in Reading . This vital role involves performing complex analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet stringent quality and safety standards. You will contribute to method development and validation activities, troubleshoot analytical issues, and maintain accurate laboratory records. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of analytical tests on pharmaceutical materials using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and dissolution testing.
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods according to ICH guidelines and company procedures.
- Analyze test results, interpret data, and prepare accurate and concise Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
- Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instrumentation, ensuring optimal performance and calibration.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all laboratory activities are conducted in compliance with GMP regulations and internal quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control analysis .
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, particularly HPLC and GC, including method development and validation.
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and laboratory best practices.
- Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
