Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of early-stage drug discovery and development projects, from target identification through to preclinical candidate selection.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of experimental data, interpret results, and formulate strategic recommendations for project progression.
• Supervise and mentor a team of scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing research environment.
• Develop and optimize innovative laboratory methodologies and techniques to address complex scientific challenges.
• Prepare detailed scientific reports, presentations, and regulatory submission documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including chemistry, biology, and clinical development to ensure seamless project integration.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record in drug discovery and development.
• Demonstrated expertise in drug formulation , pharmacokinetic profiling, and analytical method development.
• Proven ability to lead scientific projects, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) relevant to pharmaceutical development.
• Strong publication record and experience presenting scientific findings at conferences.
