Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments related to drug formulation and development.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for characterizing drug substances and products.
• Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemistry, biology, and regulatory affairs.
• Prepare detailed scientific reports, presentations, and contribute to regulatory submissions.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the overall scientific strategy of the department.

Requirements

• PhD or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical R&D, with a strong focus on formulation development.
• Proven expertise in various dosage forms, including oral solid dosage, injectables, and topical formulations.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, dissolution testing, and particle size analysis.
• Experience with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and work effectively in a virtual team setting.
