About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Manager to lead their supply chain operations from their hub in Wolverhampton . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective flow of materials and products throughout the pharmaceutical value chain. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics, managing supplier relationships, and implementing robust supply chain strategies to meet global demand and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, logistics providers, and contract manufacturers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GDP, import/export controls).
• Implement and utilize supply chain planning and visibility tools to optimize inventory levels and forecast demand accurately.
• Lead a team of supply chain professionals, fostering professional development and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and international pharmaceutical logistics.
• Proven experience in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier negotiation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
