Senior Physiotherapist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist to lead their rehabilitation services in Nottingham . This role involves providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a diverse range of physical conditions, as well as overseeing junior physiotherapists and contributing to the development of best practice within the clinic. You will work closely with patients to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life, employing evidence-based techniques and personalized care plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and diagnose musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans for patients.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy.
• Educate patients and their families on condition management, rehabilitation exercises, and preventative strategies.
• Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, providing guidance and support in clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Physiotherapy, with current HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist, with proven experience in a senior or specialist role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal and/or neurological rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in a range of physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
