Senior Planner | Construction | West Yorkshire | £70k - £80k + Package
We're currently working with a leading main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major projects across the education, healthcare and public sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior Planner, or an experienced Planner looking to take the next step in their career, with involvement across the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion.
The business has a strong pipeline of secured work and offers the opportunity to work on varied, high-quality projects within a structured and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing;
Developing and managing programmes from pre-construction through to project completion
Working across NEC and JCT contracts
Producing tender, baseline, contract and detailed delivery programmes
Monitoring progress, identifying risks and opportunities and providing clear programme reporting
Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams, Design teams and site teams
Supporting change management, delay analysis and programme impact assessments
Attending progress and planning meetings with clients, consultants and project teams
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team where required
What You'll Need;
Previous experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction programmes and project delivery
Experience working with NEC and/or JCT contracts
Experience across sectors such as education, healthcare, public sector or similar
Strong P6 and/or equivalent planning software experience
Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with both operational and commercial teams
Ideally an experienced Senior Planner, although strong Planners ready to step up will be considered
