Job Description
- Support, maintain, and enhance application hosting and build platforms across AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub
- Develop automation and tooling using Python, Java/Groovy, Go, and Terraform
- Lead code reviews and champion engineering best practices for security, performance, maintainability, and testing
- Contribute to technical standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain reliable production environments
- Improve observability and monitoring systems
- Respond to proactive and reactive support alerts
- Collaborate across the Technology department
- Mentor and support other engineers
- Build understanding of existing build and deployment architecture
- Deliver new features, fixes, and platform enhancements
- Share knowledge with the team and continue developing skills
Requirements
- Strong experience solving complex engineering problems across distributed systems
- Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes environments
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle
- Strong coding and automation capabilities
- Understanding of system architecture and end-to-end thinking across platforms and services
- Experience writing well-tested, maintainable, secure, and performant code
- Experience with infrastructure testing, such as Terraform Testing and BDD-style integration tests
- Ability to work effectively in multi-tenant environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
