Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-efficiency power electronic converters (e.g., inverters, converters, DC-DC converters).
- Perform circuit simulations and analysis using tools like SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Select appropriate components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, inductors, and capacitors.
- Develop control algorithms for power electronic systems.
- Conduct thorough validation and characterization of prototypes.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams for system integration.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in power electronics design and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in the design and development of power electronic systems.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.
- Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, ANSYS Simplorer, LTSpice).
- Experience with test equipment and techniques for power electronics validation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of innovation.
