Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-efficiency power electronic converters (e.g., inverters, converters, DC-DC converters).
• Perform circuit simulations and analysis using tools like SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Select appropriate components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, inductors, and capacitors.
• Develop control algorithms for power electronic systems.
• Conduct thorough validation and characterization of prototypes.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams for system integration.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in power electronics design and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in the design and development of power electronic systems.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory.
• Proficiency with simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, ANSYS Simplorer, LTSpice).
• Experience with test equipment and techniques for power electronics validation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of innovation.
