Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-efficiency power converters, inverters, and battery management systems.
• Conduct detailed análisis of power semiconductor devices and magnetic components.
• Perform simulations and modeling of power electronic circuits using tools like PSIM or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for power electronic modules and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to power conversion.
• Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure optimal component placement and thermal management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power electronics.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the design of power electronic converters.
• In-depth knowledge of MOSFETs, IGBTs , and other power semiconductor technologies.
• Proficiency in simulation tools and experience with design for manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of control strategies for power converters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
