Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, modelling, and analysis of intricate power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
• Perform detailed power system studies, such as load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and protection coordination.
• Develop and implement strategies for enhancing power system performance, reliability, and grid integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of power systems into larger projects.
• Stay abreast of emerging power technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Power Systems.
• 10+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering, analysis, and design.
• In-depth knowledge of power system dynamics, protection schemes, and grid codes.
• Proficiency with industry-standard power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in research and development or advanced project environments is highly desirable.
