Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-voltage electrical systems and substations.
• Conduct detailed power system studies, including load flow, fault analysis, and transient stability analysis.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of power equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies for power generation and distribution networks.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met within budget and timeline.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in power systems engineering , with a focus on transmission and distribution.
• Proven experience with power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Strong understanding of grid codes, regulatory standards, and safety protocols within the energy sector .
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or chartered engineer status is highly desirable.
