Senior Power Systems Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, modeling, and simulation of complex electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Perform detailed power flow, stability, and fault analysis using industry-standard software.
• Develop technical specifications for power system equipment and protection schemes.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance on power system studies and challenges.
• Collaborate with project teams, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices in power system engineering.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Significant professional experience (8+ years) in power system analysis, design, and operations.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Deep understanding of grid codes, protection relays, and renewable energy integration.
• Experience with grid modernization, smart grids, or energy storage systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for a remote working environment.
