About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior PR Executive to join their vibrant media team in Birmingham . This role is crucial for enhancing the company's public profile through strategic media outreach and content creation. You will play a key part in developing and executing PR campaigns that resonate with target audiences and reinforce brand messaging. Working closely with the PR Manager, you will identify new opportunities for media coverage and contribute to the overall communication strategy, fostering a strong brand presence within the West Midlands region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of integrated PR campaigns across various media channels.
• Draft compelling press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insightful analysis.
• Assist in managing the company's social media presence and online reputation.
• Support crisis communication efforts as needed and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a PR or communications role, preferably within an agency or in-house team.
• Demonstrated ability to write engaging press releases and craft persuasive media pitches.
• Strong understanding of the UK media landscape and PR best practices.
