Key Responsibilities
- Support the PR Manager in developing and executing PR strategies and campaigns.
- Write and edit press releases, articles, social media content, and other PR materials.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media contacts.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, reporting key insights to the team.
- Assist in organizing press events, media briefings, and product launches.
- Manage and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations or a similar communications role.
- Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging PR content.
- Strong understanding of media relations and the UK media landscape, particularly in the Birmingham region.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic PR software tools.
